Polar solvents destroy the foam created by newtonian foam concentrates (fluorinated or not). To avoid this, a set of fluorinated polymers are added to the AFFFs with special resistance to the destructing action and therefore makes them suitable for extinguishing the fires by liquids miscible with water. These products contain at least two separate fluorinated compounds (one fluorinated surfactant and one fluorinated polymer), so their cost is reasonably higher. All our Newtonian AFFF/ARs are formulated with C6 Technology (NO PFOS), using high quality C6 fluorosurfactants.
